Where are you based? Are you willing to travel?

I am based in Northern Virginia and shoot primarily in Leesburg, Purcellville, and other areas of Loudoun. I will travel within a couple hours (ex. Skyline Drive) but do not currently travel any further.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I offer mini sessions a few times a year (typically one per season) on select dates. I do not currently offer one-off minis unless it’s a last-minute offer over in my Instagram stories (which sometimes does happen- follow along)!

What are sessions like?

My sessions are relaxed, laid-back, and never rushed. When little ones are involved, I start with a few classic family images, then encourage natural movement, play, and connection. As we go, I’ll organically guide different family groupings while allowing plenty of space for authentic moments. Depending on the location, we’ll explore the area to capture a variety of backdrops, creating a final gallery that feels like a complete story rather than a series of repetitive images.

Do you help with choosing locations?

I love helping with location selection and actually prefer to choose so I can ensure the best lighting and timing for your session. Once you’re booked, I’ll send a curated list of location options based on your preferences and desired feel. If you have a specific spot in mind, I’m happy to consider it as long as I can assess the lighting beforehand. Especially in the warmer months, I gravitate toward natural, outdoor locations with beautiful light.

Do you offer retouching and remove distractions?

I don’t typically retouch skin unless there is a visible mark that you want removed (a bruise, pimple, etc). Otherwise, I keep my editing very natural. I do typically remove obvious distractions from backgrounds.

Do you help with outfit and wardrobe choices?

Yes! I have a whole style guide I can send you after booking which includes photos and outfit tips. I am happy to provide suggestions for colors, textures, etc.

Do you photograph weddings?

I photograph intimate elopements and microweddings. I have a whole PDF guide with my packages so please feel free to reach out and ask for that!

Do you offer custom photo books?

Yes! I love making photo books and getting your beautiful photos onto paper. This is just one of those pesky tasks that gets pushed (speaking from experience) and I’d be happy to take it off your hands. Reach out for more info!
